Today's weather report sees Stormy skies ahead.

Courtesy of CNN:

A hearing date has been set for the lawsuit adult film actress Stormy Daniels filed against President Donald Trump and his lawyer Michael Cohen's company to dissolve their non-disclosure agreement.

The hearing has been set for July 12 at the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, filed suit last week against the President. The lawsuit said Trump never signed a hush agreement to keep Daniels quiet late in the 2016 campaign about an alleged sexual encounter between the two before Trump was president.

The lawsuit said Cohen had signed it on Trump's behalf and therefore the agreement was void. Both Cohen and the White House have denied the allegations of an affair between Daniels and Trump.

The lawsuit also accuses Cohen of continuing the efforts to "intimidate Ms. Clifford into silence and 'shut her up'" by initiating a "bogus" arbitration proceeding last month without notifying Daniels or allowing due process.

Tweet from Daniel's attorney:
So despite every effort by Trump's legal team this thing is definitely still moving forward.

They will of course attempt to put this hearing off, but then they have to be careful not to have it take place too close to the 2018 election cycle, or THAT will be at least one of the questions posed by reporters to GOP candidates.

Daniels has also started a fundraising campaign to help pay her legal fees.

So far it has raised more that $121,000, and that is only since yesterday.

What might be perhaps just as troubling for the Trump camp is that according to her lawyer multiple women have been inspired Daniels to consider filing their own lawsuits against Donald Trump.

Courtesy of Buzzfeed News:

Multiple women are exploring potential legal cases against President Donald Trump, following the lead of an adult film actor who has filed a lawsuit in order to speak out about an affair she says she had with Trump in 2006, her attorney said Wednesday.

Michael Avenatti, who represents Stephanie Clifford — better known by her professional name, Stormy Daniels — told BuzzFeed News that other women have reached out to him for representation in cases against Trump. Avenatti did not answer questions about the number of women or the nature of their allegations.

When asked by BuzzFeed News if other women had approached him about potential legal cases, Avenatti replied, "confirmed."

An attorney for Buzzfeed also believes that he has found a way for Daniels to divulge everything she knows about Trump without defying the NDA.

Courtesy of Politico

BuzzFeed may have found a legal opening to allow the porn actress Stormy Daniels to discuss her alleged relationship with President Donald Trump and a $130,000 payment she received just before the 2016 election as part of a nondisclosure agreement she is now trying to void.

The same Trump attorney who brokered the deal with Daniels, Michael Cohen, filed a libel suit in January against BuzzFeed and four of its staffers over publication of the so-called dossier compiling accurate, inaccurate and unproven allegations about Trump’s relationship with Russia.

Now, BuzzFeed is using Cohen’s libel suit as a vehicle to demand that Daniels preserve all records relating to her relationship with Trump, as well as her dealings with Cohen and the payment he has acknowledged arranging in 2016.

On Tuesday, BuzzFeed’s lawyer wrote to Daniels’ attorney asking that the adult film actress, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, preserve various categories of documents. Such preservation letters are often a prelude to a subpoena. If Daniels’ testimony is formally demanded in a deposition, the nondisclosure agreement would likely be no obstacle, legal experts said.

What's more this payoff by Michael Cohen is very much like the allegations in the Steele dossier, which identified him as the one "sweeping things under the carpet" for Donald Trump.

Like I said, Stormy skies ahead.

""In my experience, lesbians are people that have had a bad experience with men in their life, and most women grow out of it," Jones said. "And then they get real happy when they get a man.""After opining that making out with women in college is cool, but it's different when they're 40 year olds working in their garden, McInnes asked, :But, why does this tiny population, this tiny group of sexless, depressed old chubby dykes control so much of the political narrative? Why are entire elections dedicated to something as irrelevant as gay marriage?"
" McInnes had the last word on Hillary: "As far as lesbians go, I appreciate her taste. Huma Abedin is my cup of tea," he slobbered. "I like the way she ages, I like her long hair, her big lips. I think Hillary and I have the same taste in chicks."

'Oregon Supreme Court suspended Judge Vance Day on Thursday for “willful misconduct” and for making “willful misstatements” to investigators to cover up the truth, The Oregonian reported.

Day was first appointed in 2011 to the bench in Marion County Circuit Court and it was decided that he acted with prejudice against same-sex couples by refusing to marry them after the U.S. Supreme Court legalized the marriage. He also instructed his staff to do whatever it took to avoid “public detection” of his refusal.

The state court specifically cited “exceptionally serious misconduct” in making false statements about a man he supervised on probation. Day claimed he didn’t know the man was a felon, but documents prove he was lying.

Day also lied about being assaulted by a referee at his son’s community college soccer game.

“We conclude that a lengthy suspension is required, to preserve public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary,” the court’s opinion said.

It is the longest suspension in the state court’s history.'

    2. Only suspended? Not REMOVED from the bench?

As for Alex Jones, he'll get his in court. He's being sued for defamation. I look forward to the big, fat fine he is going to have to fork over.

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace reported that Trump is blowing up over the subpoena of the Trump Organization because he is worried that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is about to bust his kids Ivanka, Don Jr., and Eric for financial crimes involving Russia. The reason this story is likely to light his hair on fire — and I imagine his hair is highly flammable — is because of the exposure — not for Michael Cohen, because I understand him to be pretty miffed with Cohen and to place all of the responsibility for the Stormy Daniels debacle squarely at Cohen’s feet, which is interesting because we’ve not heard that Cohen was in a hotel room and at a golf tournament with a porn star."
"he’s worried about his baby girl, his daughter Ivanka and her exposure because of Jared’s legal travails. And I heard today that the reaction to this story from the president is likely to be I don’t want to use the word grave, but — mounting concerns for his son.”"

2:55"This creepy meeting confirms something I've always felt about Trump's kids spouses: that HE picked them. I really thought this about Vanks and Jared and here it is confirmed about Jr."

""I'm at this fashion show," Vanessa Trump said, recalling their meeting in 2003. "Donald Trump comes up to me with his son: 'Hi, I'm Donald Trump. I wanted to introduce you to my son Donald Trump Jr.'"

The three engaged in a brief, awkward conversation.

At intermission, the elder Trump again noticed a gorgeous girl nearby.

"Donald comes back up to me again, 'I don't think you've met my son Donald Trump Jr.,'" Vanessa Trump recalled. She remembers responding, "Yeah, we just met, five minutes ago."

Six weeks later, at a birthday party at a New York restaurant, they were introduced a third time, this time by a mutual friend. Neither remembered the other. "We talked for an hour," she recalled.

Then suddenly, something clicked: Wait, you were at that fashion show. Wait, you're "the one with the retarded dad!" Vanessa blurted out."

"The wife of the founder of Oath Keepers, a right wing anti-government militia group, alleged that he was abusive and violent in a petition for a temporary restraining order filed last month.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, which flagged Tosha Vonn Adams Rhodes’s petition Thursday, noted that her request was denied and no hearing was scheduled.

In the hand-written petition, Vonn Adams Rhodes alleged her husband Stewart Rhodes has in the past waved his gun around, and pointed it at his own head and through the car door at their neighbors’ home when he drove by it, “despite the fact that some of our children are often in and out of their house.”

She recently filed for a divorce, she said, and was “terrified of his response.”

She described one incident in which Rhodes waved his gun around in 2016, “each time increasing the threat level to me, by waving the gun around a little more each time before claiming he was suicidal.”

“Whenever the respondent is unhappy with my behavior (say I want to leave the house — he doesn’t like me to leave) he will draw his handgun (which he always wears), rack the slide, wave it around, and then point it at his own head, telling me my behavior has caused this,” Vonn Adams Rhodes wrote.

At one point in the summer of 2016, she wrote, Rhodes “grabbed my teenage daughter by the throat until stopped by my son.”

Vonn Adams Rhodes noted that while her husband’s rifles are “stored with a friend,” he likely has handguns and “several knives” on his person. The Oath Keepers most recently made headlines when Rhodes called on members to serve as armed security guards at schools following the Valentines’ Day mass shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

“What I tell our people is don’t ask for permission,” he told TPM in an interview on the proposal. “Let ‘em know what you’re doing and be as friendly as you can. But this is the reality we’re in right now.”

Rhodes previously called on Oath Keepers to patrol polling locations on Election Day in 2016. The group was an armed presence during the 2014 standoff between the Bureau of Land Management and rancher Cliven Bundy, and during the protests in Ferguson, Missouri following the police killing of Mike Brown.

They have law enforcement officers among their members, as well: In 2o16, a police officer in Maryland was suspended over a photograph of an Oath Keepers hat prominently displayed in his cruiser." <TPM

This article misquotes me—I didn't say "unenforceable"; that's a term with legal meaning—and misconstrues my point: my point is that Cohen's in breach of the arbitration clause and Trump isn't a party to the contract at all, so Trump can't enforce the NDA.

Many Florida Republicans are looking to Governor Rick Scott (R) to see what his next steps will be. Scott told reporters on Sunday that he would be deciding his political future “in the next few weeks.”
The Palm Beach County GOP has held its dinner at Mar-a-Lago for the past five years. This year will mark the sixth year it will be held at the Trump resort. According to The Palm Beach Post:
In late March, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is scheduled to host a gala marking Israel’s 70th Year at Mar-a-Lago. Tickets are being sold for $1,000 per table. U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, will be speaking as well as Israel’s Ambassador to the U.N., Danny Danon; and former Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper.

It was reported last month that Sarah Palin’s daughter, Bristol, and husband Dakota Meyer are getting a divorce after less than two years of marriage. Palin and Meyer’s 2015 wedding was originally called off days before it was scheduled to happen.

Stormy Daniels attorney eager to ‘get into a street fight’ with Trump and Cohen: ‘I’m looking for it!’

...Cohen’s attorney and friend David Schwartz earlier told Cooper that he is eager for Trump’s lawyer to score millions in breaches of the NDA with punitive damages.

    Avenatti celebrated the legal threat.

“Anderson, this is like Christmas and Hanukkah all rolled into one for me tonight,” he said. “I’m ecstatic. I think this is — this is, perhaps, the greatest gift that I’ve ever received. If Michael Cohen and President Trump want to drag this out and get into a street fight over the recovery, ‘of these millions of dollars’ for an American citizen speaking the truth, I think this is outstanding. And I’m really looking forward to the next two, three, four, five, years. However long it take. we’re not going to be intimidated by Mr. Schwartz or Mr. Cohen or the president.”

He went on to say that they fully intend to fight them at every turn.

“We’re going to bring it,” he continued. “And we’re going to let a court and, perhaps, a jury, ultimately decide who’s telling the truth and who’s not telling the truth. And, Anderson, this situation has gotten so unseemly that now the attorney needs an attorney. So, at first it was President Trump, then he was relying on Mr. Cohen. Now Mr. Cohen is relying on his friend, an attorney. And, frankly, Anderson, where is Michael Cohen? I mean, where is this guy? This guy prides himself on being a fixer. He ends tweets with #RayDonovan. He actually refers to himself as Ray Donovan. Why won’t he come on your show or any other show and sit here like I do and answer simple questions? Where is this guy?”

2:36PM I'm interested in your quote on Vanessa Trump's suspicion that Donnie Jr was having an affair with Leann Tweeden. Tweeden managed to get her 15 minutes of fame accusing Al Franken of sexual improprieties on that USO Tour. If she was having an affair with Junior, I am suspicious whether she was paid by Trump or the Republicans to "go public" with her testimony against Franken.

Tweeden is the same phony who was seen dry humping Robin Williams in front of an audience on that same USO Tour.

I hope there are some mainstream reporters on this story.

"Remember Leanne Tweeden, the lady who claimed that Al Franken had sexually harassed her?

A little birdy from NYC spoke to us today, that worked for Vanessa Trump in the summer of 2011 to tell us some interesting news about Donald Trump and Leanne Tweeden.

Turns out they were “such close friends” and having “breakfast” so much, that Vanessa Trump had a “breakdown” in front of her friends and house staff about her beliefs that they were having an affair together.

According to the source, whose resume checked out, Junior didn’t like that Vanessa was pregnant and “fat” during the time with her third and was not having sex with the Junior Trump.

Junior took the summer off despite them being pregnant, and spent almost no time with her that summer instead working on “The Apprentice” with his father.

This really raises a lot of questions about Leanne Tweeden, and her relationship with Donald Trump and Trump Junior. If she was that close to Trump Junior that his wife felt they might be having an affair, it’s a good possibility the entire attack on Franken was a setup by Junior."

If Junior got Tweeden to take down Franken, it isn't that far of a stretch that all of these rumors of collusion with the Russians, et al. are true and perfectly within his character. A liar, adulterer, cheat and criminal, just like his Dad.

  14. That's not all:

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/docs-trump-org-lawyer-effort-silence-porn-star-015750717--politics.html

"New documents show a second lawyer with ties to President Donald Trump was involved in legal efforts to keep adult film star Stormy Daniels from talking about her alleged affair with Trump.

Attorney Jill A. Martin signed the documents, which were filed Feb. 22 as part of confidential arbitration proceedings. She's referenced in the filing as counsel for "EC LLC," though the address she lists is that of Trump's Los Angeles golf club.

EC appears to be a reference to a company formed by Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, to facilitate a $130,000 payment to silence Daniels in the closing days of the 2016 presidential campaign. Cohen has acknowledged making the payment, but said he was not reimbursed and denied the campaign and the Trump Organization were involved in the transaction.

Daniels' attorney, Michael Avenatti, confirmed the authenticity of the new documents to The Associated Press. The documents were first reported by CNN and the Wall Street Journal.

Avenatti said the documents show that "contrary to Mr. Cohen's representations, there is little to no difference between EC LLC and The Trump Organization/Donald Trump.""

    Then there is the notary:

    https://www.dallasnews.com/news/donald-trump-1/2018/03/12/texas-notarys-failure-sign-stormy-daniels-hush-agreement-investigation

"Texas officials are investigating whether a Dallas-area notary properly signed off on Stormy Daniels’ agreement to stay quiet about her alleged affair with President Donald Trump."

"A notary in Forney, where Daniels lives, did not sign and date the 2016 agreement, which was finalized a few days before the presidential election. She also did not provide a certificate reflecting whose signature she was witnessing, according to the Texas Secretary of State.
Notaries are third-party witnesses tasked with verifying that real people are signing legal documents.
Texas law requires that notaries not only stamp documents, but sign and date them. They also must provide a certificate reflecting that they verified the identity of the signer or signers."

While the lack of a valid notary signature may be a small thing, she can't notarize a signature that isn't there. There is no record of Trump signing it.

Trump is fighting a war on multiple fronts. That never bodes well. I guess Trump slept through every history class he ever took.
