Betty Bowers take on Sarah Palins' recent speech in Denver is a must see.
Yikes !! If I was the organizer of the Western Conservative Summit, I would demand the speaker's fee back from Palin, with interest, for her embarrassing, pathetic, idiotic performance.
There were so many speakers at the event that I wonder if they were paid, or if they came in order to be seen and heard by other conservatives. That's their audience, and that would have been one giant speakers' bill.
Poor Palin - she tries so hard to be a comedian. The clips of Lucy are from one of my favorite shows. A side note - when my oldest daughter was in sixth grade - she and her best friend were late to school for a whole semester as they would be at my home watching "Lucy" - and would then go to school. The teacher did not tell me for that whole semester - I was at work and did not know. I still chuckle when I think of it to this day. That was a very tolerant teacher. When I confronted my daughter she told me the truth. What can I say - other than she is a successful professional and with her partner raising three orphans - and she still loves Lucy.
Yep, SP's latest FB post is all about her new channel. Several of her sheeple are upset that they'd have to pay a fee to access it. Others suggest that she hire a voice coach ala Margaret Thatcher to avoid sounding screechy. The self-made video is hilarious in that the "many chests of Sarah" - from boy-flat at the Iowa Fair to much larger at other venues. She made sure that she's shown shaking hands with a few blah people - you know, since she's so inclusive and all. Talk about a joke. Seems like there will be plenty of new material from her show to keep lots of bloggers in business!!
@6:42: personally, I see her going into comedy before evangelism. She'd have to actually read and know bible stuff to deliver sermons. Comedy is what she's already doing. Remember, Tina Fey barely had to deviate from her verbatim speeches to get laughs...

Remember the "insider" who posted that Sarah absolutely DID appear in public on "diet pills" (amphetamine) and that Todd would give her booze to try and level her out? The person claimed that Todd was rapidly approaching the point where he wasn't paid enough to be her minder and that we would unquestionably SEE when the shift happened, when Todd stopped accompanying her to events and she was left to her own devices.
I was skeptical of that person when they were here. If he/she is still reading, I can only say.......DING DING DING, we have a winner. You were right on the money, insider!
I am in total shock that she appeared so obviously wasted in public and it wasn't a HUGE media story! How in the HELL does this filthy layabout liar manage to maintain that Teflon coating?!

In return, they will email you, phone you and mail your more requests for money, and marketing information. Mostly, I don't think that Palin has any more speeches lined up, so this way, if you want to hear what she says (and then make fun of her), you'll have to pay for it. She's not giving it away for free any more. How to limit your audience to the choir, and just the choir. They have heard those songs before.
The technicians at Faux responsible for her "feeds" from her home studio called the Palins "The Bitch and the Eskimo" I wonder if the eskimo is still onboard for this latest scam? Maybe she is unaware that her "friends" are bought and paid for, and honestly thinks she really does have that many fans?

Watched the new movie Boyhood today. Wonderful. The best part was the political disses on the invasion of Iraq, the support for Obama for president, and using Bristol Palin as an example of what NOT to do to avoid premarital pregnancy. YES!!
She is charging more than Netflix...I wouldn't pay two cents for her or any other political site...anyway, others will pay and then post what is going on...so she loses all the way around...I guess she thinks she can be the next Huffington Post...only thing Sarah is that they do not charge anyone either...she must be broke. are these sites hard to crash?
