Alaskan Senate hopeful Joe Miller issues statement agreeing with Sarah Palin. Well this ought to be interesting.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

Joe Miller, who is running in the Republican primary for the opportunity to challenge Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska), has called for President Barack Obama's impeachment, his campaign said this week.

"Sarah Palin is right; it’s time to impeach this President for dereliction of duty, selectively enforcing the law, and usurping powers that the Constitution does not authorize," he said in a press release. "He is willfully undermining the rule of law and creating chaos."

Some have suggested that the reason that Sarah Palin has NOT endorsed anybody in Alaska since 2010, nor donated any money to an Alaskan campaign, is because she has not yet made up her mind.

But that's not the reason.

The reason is because even somebody as incredible thick headed as she clearly is recognizes that in Alaska her support would be the kiss of death for a candidate.

If she even hints that she is on Miller's side, or Sullivan's, or Treadwell's, she will doom any chances that they will emerge victorious.

However if I did not know any better it almost seems like Miller is angling for her support, which indicates to me that he may be even MORE stupid than the Queen of Stupidity herself.

Here's more from Miller:

"Mark Begich has not even deemed the crisis on our southern border worthy of a press release," he said. "There is no doubt that he is complicit with the President in encouraging and empowering this illegal invasion, both from a policy perspective by voting for amnesty, and by virtue of his refusal to hold Barack Obama accountable for dereliction of duty and usurpation of Congressional authority."

First off that was NOT a vote for amnesty, and second Begich has not issued a press release because Alaskans typically do not give a shit about what happens on the southern border of America.

Those undocumented immigrants rarely make it up here, and if they do it is in such small numbers we don't even notice.

So Miller is arguing a partisan position that might make a big difference to out of state supporters, but mean virtually nothing to the people who will be doing he actual voting.

Hey I hope that Palin actually DOES endorse Miller again, though considering what happened in 2010 that would seem incredibly doubtful, because I would really LOVE to watch him crash and burn again and watch her reputation sink even lower into the abyss right along with his hopes of ever making it to the Senate.

Does that seem wrong?

Essentially that is what Facebook is for Sarah. A place of constant press releases, so she can go around the media that she considers 'unfriendly'. Today, a press release is nothing more than an email or fb post, or even a tweet, because the media still picks it up and runs with it. There is no more distinction between social media and traditional media, sad to say. It's one of the reasons that Sarah has stayed on the radar, the complete destruction of that distinction. She never has to answer to anyone, she deletes any comments she doesn't like or blocks anyone from speaking their mind, she shows up on a sprinkling of 'news' shows like Hannity, or at fundraisers or political campaigns where she's endorsed, or right wing functions that are like minded to her insane thinking. She hides out, dodges and avoids any real participation in the world, because she's a chicken shit. She's flat out afraid to be busted for her stupidity and unhinged rantings.

OT Check out Bristol's facebook where she links to another one of Nancy French's ghost written articles, stirring up the hornet's next about Michael Sam, the gay football player. Coach Dungy said that he wouldn't have picked Sam because he wasn't a good football player. There was no reason for Dungy to mention Sam at all, since there were probably dozens, maybe even a hundred other players that he wouldn't take because they weren't good enough, too. There is only one reason to single out Sam, and it's because he was brave enough to come out as gay.

Sarah's response was classic Palin, speaking out against politically correct speech and people who are so sensitive to insensitive words. That, coming from a woman who plays the victim card when a joke was made about her pregnant unwed teen daughter. (The truth of the matter is that Palin did have a pregnant, unwed teen daughter.) Someone used a word to refer to stupid way of doing something and Palin took it as a personal insult to someone in her family. A cartoon character on TV also provoked the same response. So, it is all right for Palin to be offended, but her offensive speech should just be taken as a ha ha good old gal's idea of a joke.

Really OT now, Sarah's idea of a joke, she wasn't speeding, she was qualifying is a bumper sticker that has been sold in gas stations for years. There is nothing original about Sarah's jokes, either.

That's just a whole lotta midterms campaign demagoguery to rile up the right wing. He couldn't give one single valid reason for impeachment, so he has to talk in these huge general sweeping statements designed to incite anger and fear and pure and simple racism.

Gryphen - if that's even your real name, which everyone along the Inner Passage knows it is not - you libtards are just completely clueless on this impeachment issue. I feel sorry for you. smh

Of course, Obama will be impeached. Duh! His fate was sealed before he even took the oath of office in 2009. The one thing you can say about Republicans: they know high crimes and misdemeanors like nobody else in Amercia.

It's gonna take some time to get the job done because the mental defectives in the tea party wing of the GOP (aka The Entire GOP) want to get this right. This isn't going to be a lynch mob. (Ed. Note correction: apparently it will be a lynch mob) Let's just accept that by January 2017, Obama will be gone.

Here's a MUCH more interesting story just now breaking on the Dredge Report. Anonymous yet unnamed high-ranking GOP officials are confirming that President Nutella Clinton, daughter of impeached former president Chelsea Clinton and granddaughter of impeached former presidents Bill and Hillary Clinton will herself be impeached when Congress reconvenes after the July-August-September climate change heat wave recess in 2061.

(with summer temps in DC reaching the low 160s, the smart politicians will leave town and hit the charming coastal beach communities of northern Alabama)

So, you and your little blog buddies should just buck up or walk over to that truck, as the saying goes. Impeaching Democratic presidents by douchebag Republicans ain't no thing. It's a time-honored tradition.

"There is no doubt that he is complicit with the President in encouraging and empowering this illegal invasion" -- is there anyway that someone could elaborate on this theory without looking like a conspiracy-believing nutcase? I mean, do they think the President is literally trying to take down this country from the inside? What goal would that accomplish? I don't think them trying to explain it would sway me, but maybe it would give them pause for thought when they realize how ridiculous it is on the face of it.

What are the odds if someone showed up on Michelle Obama's doorstep in Chicago (or wherever their private home is) to "see it" and a one hour conversation with Michelle herself followed? Slim to none?

That instance happened in Alaska with Sarah Palin this month where a tourist drove by her house and ended up chatting for an hour with her.

What are the chances of someone receiving a warm invitation to Alaska and a meet and greet if they contacted Michelle's mother out of awe?

The Heaths and personable, down to earth and hospitable.

Yes, Alaska is a different place in terms of location. Chicago is much rougher, much more dangerous and you trust less Alaskans are nice, welcoming people.

Im not trying to make a statement about the people I've named and Im not saying Michelle is rude.

but HOW MANY really famous people are that hospitable and nice to "fans?" Not many. James Cameron dissed a harmless fan outside an airport. Yes, artists owe fans nothing. But without ticketbuyers, James Cameron would have NO career or lavish lifestyle.

Though it is sad how crass sites like TMZ are. Harvey Levin prides himself on being a disrespectful, slandering goon.

You continue to believe the myth that Sarah Palin has attempted to wrap herself in. She is certainly capable of charming people on a short term basis. Those of us who know her here in Alaska, know that she is a fraud and a liar. And she is dangerous. Sarah cares only for Sarah. There are a lot of bodies under the bus - including her own family members.

At the rate she is wasting away, it may not be long before her body just gives out. Cardiac arrest? You can't keep jamming that much adderal into the system without sustaining long-term, irreversible damage on the vital organs.

There are no "accidental visitors" at the Palin compound, you simply don't just drive up to their house without someone stopping you. This was as planned as most of Mrs. Palin's PR. Perhaps she was speeding to try to get home for this planned meet and greet? BTW I live just outside of Wasilla, and while we have our exemplary citizens, the dirtbags and ne'er do wells way outweigh the decent folks. Obviously you've never visited here. We always joke that he deep south ain't got nothin' on us here in the Silla....if you need proof just go to Wal-Mart on any afternoon...The Valley is a wonderful place to live but one must be very careful of who one associates with because there are a lot of deadbeats with a lot of problems. It's still kind of frontier in that some people try to live a little differently than do most of us in modern society; they cherish lawlessness and doing things like riding ATV's in the city limits, eschewing weekly trash pick up for annual visits to the dump and trying to live off the land. (ATV's in the city limits are about to be stopped by the City Council, thank goodness, the rest of the crazy behavior, well, they keep to themselves and so do we.)

Michelle Obama, as First Lady of the United States, has Secret Service protection. Even when her husband leaves office, she will continue to have Secret Service protection. You cannot just knock on her door and come in unless you have been screened and have an appointment.

The same kind of security and need for security surrounds many celebrities because they do receive death threats. As for knocking on doors in any large city, no, people are not stupid enough to throw the door open and say, "Please come in." Life in a big city is different than life in a small Alaska town. Where my kids and grand kids go to school, you do not get in the front door without passing security and checking in at the office. They had that in place long before the shootings in American schools. It was caused, in part, because parents involved in a custody fight who might kidnap a child. It also had to do with the creepy people who might hang around the school.

Life in the big city IS different from living in the countryside where people know all their neighbors, leave their doors open and may or may not be more friendly. Recently, friends of ours from Europe traveled around small town American. They are fluent in English, but they speak with an accent. They look like any one else, but they were asked over and over, "What are you doing here?" I thought that was rude. Small town people sometimes have small minds.

Sarah's vast executive experience was limited to Wasilla and a state whose population is less than a million people. In order to run for Vice President, a job that does require international relations and knowledge, Sarah was completely unprepared. She had not traveled outside of the US with the exception of a trip to a military base in Kuwait, and that is just like being the US. Refueling in Ireland does not count. Canada does not count. Being that close to Russia doesn't count, either.

Does it matter if a candidate or politician has not traveled around the US or the world? George W. Bush had not traveled anywhere, either. He was incurious, he did not read and he had little understanding or sensitivity when it came to other people and other cultures.

Sarah was a fish out of water. She had not been to big cities and she knew nothing about the rest of the world. Africa is a country. Which one is our friend, North or South Korea? Nice to talk to you, President Sarkozy. China hold our debt is like slavery. I loved the outfit Sarah wore in New York when she appeared on Fox. She looked like a cheap hooker coming in from a night's work when she wore those stripper heels and her big bust bra.

Yes, our big cities are dangerous, but they are also the exciting centers of business and banking, advertising and media, culture and more culture. Being in that kind of atmosphere generates imagination, excitement and innovation. It may be a generalization, but enlightened thought and progressive thinking is found in urban centers. By contrast, people in the rural areas of the States tend to be slower to change and to accept new ideas. In general, the rural, small towns are the red Republican areas and the urban centers tend to be blue, Democratic areas. Yes, there are liberals in Alaska and racists in New York City. And if the Heaths and Palins are all that friendly and trusting, I hope that when they travel, they should leave their hotel room door open as a friendly gesture for anyone anywhere to walk in and have a friendly chat. Good luck with that.

There was no guarantee that the book they bought would be the book they would receive autographed, guarding against anyone writing "To Blutto, with love from....." or "I love Barack Obama,......."

Sarah won't pose for a photo at an event unless people have plunked down $1,000 for a golden inner circle ticket. Why does Todd always have to accompany (protect) Sarah where ever she goes? Regarding movie stars, movie producers, actors-- all that they owe you is a good performance. It's nice if they take the trouble to shake your hand, pose for a photo with you and exchange a few words. Sometimes, they just don't want to be bothered. If you travel frequently, you will find that sometimes the guy in the seat next to you on the plane wants to chew your ear off, and sometimes, he just wants to be left alone. People in the spotlight seem familiar to us so we presume that we can go right up to them and invade their privacy. Some of them are shy, and some of them have been hounded by real life stalkers. Someone like Cameron must be offered scripts and deals every time he turns around, so he just doesn't want to be bothered. Try walking up to some total stranger and start a conversation. Maybe you'll be lucky and the person will be nice. And, maybe the person will tell you to get lost. You just don't walk up to people and assume that they are as friendly as you want them to be. And by all means, please walk right up to Michelle Obama and give her a piece of your mind. With Secret Service around, let's see how far you get.
